Art shows, beer and wine tasting and craft shows are perfect excuses to get out and enjoy this wonderful city. Don’t forget Earth Day is April 21st.

San Francisco International Film Festival

SFFILM champions the world’s finest films and filmmakers through programs anchored in and inspired by the spirit and values of the San Francisco Bay Area. Presenter of the San Francisco International Film Festival, SFFILM is a year-round nonprofit organization delivering screenings and events to more than 100,000 film lovers and media education programs to more than 10,000 students and teachers annually. In addition to its public programs, SFFILM supports the careers of hundreds of independent filmmakers from the Bay Area and beyond with grants, residencies, and other creative development services.

Silicon Valley Comic Con

Taste of Mendocino
When: April 7th, 2018

This intimate wine event will showcase the people and products that make Mendocino County such a special place. More than 30 Mendocino wineries will be pouring their best wines, and numerous Mendocino County artisanal food producers will be serving up delicious bites to complement the wines. Truly a gourmet marketplace, Taste of Mendocino attendees will be able to purchase wine and artisanal foods at the event.

Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival
When: April 14th – 22nd, 2018
Where: Laguna and Fillmore Streets

This year’s Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 14-15 and April 21-22, 2018. All are welcome to join in the festivities as we celebrate Japanese and Japanese American culture in San Francisco’s Japantown!

The festival will be held within the borders of Laguna and Fillmore Streets and Geary Boulevard. There will be food booths, cultural performances, martial arts, live bands, the annual Queen Program, and more. The Grand Parade will be held on Sunday, April 22, beginning at 1pm starting from City Hall and concluding in Japantown.

Maritime Beer Fest 2018

Earth Day San Francisco 2018
When: April 21st, 2018

On Saturday April 21st celebrate the 49th year of Earth Day, and the 100 year anniversary of the Save the Redwoods League. The theme for this year’s Earth Day is “Stand for the Redwoods/Stand for the Future“. This unique partnership  includes a “Redwood Canopy Tent” featuring renowned speakers and panel discussions with participation from the Save the Redwoods League, Bioneers, the California Academy of Science, and SF Sustainable Fashion Week. Talks will go throughout the day with topics including conservation, climate change, recycling, and the intersection of politics, technology and the environment.

International Chocolate Festival
When: April 2st – 22nd, 2018

A Must Visit 2-Day Event for the Chocolate Curious, Fans, Gourmands, Chocolate Home Chefs, Innovators and Artisan Makers. Join chocolate entrepreneurs and explore the inspiration, inventiveness and modern spirit from brain to bean to bar, bonbons and beyond.

Enjoy culinary and chocolate demonstrations, and talks on what makes up fine chocolate, where it comes from, how it is made differently, etc. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local non profits and food banks.

Art Market San Francisco

Art Market San Francisco, the Bay Area’s leading, and longest running, modern and contemporary art fair, returns to Fort Mason’s Festival Pavilion this April 26 – 29. Art Market San Francisco’s eighth edition will feature exhibitions of top modern and contemporary art presented by 80 galleries from around the world.
