The universe is made of energy, different energies vibrate at different frequencies. The higher the frequency the better. If you’ve been experiencing a series of bad luck, missed opportunity, loss… negativity – odds are you’ve been vibrating at a low frequency. Maybe you’ve heard of people who learned how to raise their vibration and then everything seemed to fall into place? Or maybe you’re just learning about the Law of Attraction, and wondering how this whole vibration thing works.

While there are hundreds, if not thousands of books on the subject – and I highly recommend reading all you can on the subject – in a nutshell, if you want to attract love, abundance, peace, joy… all the good things, you need to raise your vibration to those levels.

All of those things – love, inner calm, abundance – operate on a high plane or frequency. Conversely, the bad stuff is found at lower levels. If you’ve been wondering why you feel like your life is stuck, in a rut, can’t seem to make anything work, it could be because your vibration is low.

If you’ve ever fallen in love, you’ve experienced vibrating on one of the highest frequencies. Remember falling in love? Nothing else mattered. Problems that did arise didn’t take up much bandwidth at all and were resolved easily and without much consideration. Things just seemed to work themselves out. That’s operating on a higher vibration. Unfortunately, many of us get bogged down in the day to day grind, the mundane, the toxic. Being there lowers our vibration and the next thing you know bad thing after bad thing begins to happen. Like attracts like (the law of attraction) so if you’re stuck in a rut it’s likely that more bad things will happen.

The good news is that you can do many things to raise your vibration! It’s not magic, it’s not waiting around for someone to make things better, it’s taking action by raising your own vibration through a series of actions, thoughts and intentions. The list is not limited to the list below, there are countless ways to raise your vibration, and they can be different for each person. Do what works best for you.

Raise your Vibration

State your Intentions – There is simply no way you can attract anything if you don’t know what it is you wish to attract. State your intentions  – outlaid – to the universe and before you know it you’ll start seeing those things make their way to you.

Eat Organic – Eat unprocessed foods whenever possible. If you have the choice between organic and non organic, choose organic. Eat foods that are as close to their natural state as possible.

Be Grateful – Appreciate that which you have, and more will follow.

Hug – Hugging raises dopamine levels in your brain – the feel good chemical – hug freely and you’ll feel wonderful and that raises your vibration.

De-clutter – Get rid of that which is weighing you down. Whether material or emotional, do away with the things that lower your vibration (this can include relationships).

Surround yourself with Light – Hang with people who are also vibrating on a higher level, your vibration will sync with theirs (another reason to avoid those with low vibrations).

Breathe – Deep breathing gets more oxygen into your cells. The more oxygen the better you heal.

Unplug – Take a tech break and use the time to read a book, take a walk, or just meditate.

Love your Enemies – Or the people who annoy you. The act of forgiving is a wonderful way to raise your spirits and frequency. It’s also incredibly liberating.

Listen to Music – Music has been shown to lift your mood so let it. Listen to whatever music you enjoy and let your mood soar.

Laugh – Laughter really is the best medicine so use it liberally. Call your best friend and go out and just hang out. Laugh like you used to and soon your vibration will skyrocket.
