May is here and it’s time to celebrate all the wonderful events in San Francisco this May. Be sure to get out and enjoy all of the many Cinco de Mayo events happening around town and don’t forget the San Francisco Wine Festival taking place on the 13th of May.

No matter what you choose, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this month in San Francisco.

Cinco de Mayo
When: May 6th, 2017

San Francisco, CA

Talented artists will perform throughout the day featuring traditional Mexican songs as well as salsa, Latin Jazz, Latin Rock, Pop, and other Latin rhythms.

Over 65 vendors will participate providing their delicious, diverse foods, showcasing their arts and crafts and empowering the multi-cultural community through greater awareness of their products and services. This year we will also be hosting a Beer Garden for all attendees 21 and over! The festival is attended by an average of 6,000 people yearly.

The festive, life enriching family event takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is within walking distance from the 24th Street BART station and easily accessible via MUNI.

How Weird Street Faire
When: May 7th, 2017
Where: Howard and 2nd Streets

Join us as we gather the tribes once again to celebrate peace, dance in the streets,

SF Made Week

A celebration of local manufacturers, their products and their people, SFMade Week is back for its sixth year!  The festival runs May 8th through 14th, and features factory tours, demos, shopping events, and Ramp it Up! — a benefit for SFMade at Barebottle Brewing Company.

Beyond just a brand, SFMade is a nonprofit that helps local manufacturers and their workers to make it in San Francisco. Join us for SFMade Week to support the organization that is empowering manufacturers, creating jobs and transforming our city.

Uncorked – The San Francisco Wine Festival

Crossroads Film Festival
When: May 19th – 21st, 2017
Where: San Francisco Cinematheque

Carnaval San Francisco
When: May 27th – 28th, 2017
Where: Mission District
San Francisco, CA

Come celebrate with us at the 39th annual Carnaval San Francisco! The 2017 Grand Parade will be held on May 28th at 9:30am. Watch a brilliant procession of contingents, most of which will feature beautifully adorned floats depicting rich multicultural themes and featuring performers who engage and entertain the crowds. The 2–day festival will be held May 27th and May 28th on Harrison Street between 16th and 24th Streets. Experience global cuisine, international music, dance, arts & crafts, and other fun activities and entertainment on every street corner for the entire family to enjoy.
